DVC / LEGAL
Terms of use
Last updated 9 October 2026
These terms describe how DVC may be used by clinics, their teams and their patients.
The service
DVC provides software for clinics to offer online booking, a virtual waiting room, video consultations, records and follow-up under their own identity. Each clinic is an independent practice and is solely responsible for the care it provides.
Not for emergencies
DVC is not an emergency service. If you think you may be having a medical emergency, contact your local emergency number or go to the nearest emergency department immediately.
Clinical decisions
Diagnosis, treatment and prescriptions are the responsibility of the treating doctor. AI features in DVC produce drafts and suggestions only; they do not make clinical decisions and must be reviewed by a qualified clinician.
Clinic accounts
Clinics must provide accurate practice and practitioner details, keep registrations current, and give team members only the access their role requires. Account holders are responsible for activity under their credentials and must keep them secure.
Payments
Consultation fees are set by each clinic and paid to the clinic. A clinic’s DVC subscription is a separate agreement between the clinic and DVC.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse the service: no unauthorised access, interference with other users, or use for anything unlawful. We may suspend access to protect patients, clinics or the platform.
Changes
We may update these terms as the service evolves. Material changes will be communicated to clinics before they take effect.
